Sam Anselmo

Sam Anselmo is an Italian-American Director & Writer. He got his start in the entertainment industry at 7 years old playing drums in the Virginia Opry, The Nashville Review & The Grand Ol' Opry. He went on to be the youngest drummer to play professionally on Cruise Lines at age 15! During all that time drumming, he found an old VHS Camera at age 10 and started making short films with stop start editing. After moving on to hi8, and mini-dv he kept leveling up in the film industry. He went on to live in Brazil for 7 years where he worked on several TV shows in São Paulo and English Learning Series. After working with Civil Law Enforcement, enough was enough and he moved back to Branson, Missouri in 2016. After a few weeks he got a role in the Branson Murder Mystery, and then at Pierce Arrow as a comedian in an Improv Show. Soon he was hired as "The Polar Express Hobo" by Branson Scenic Railway and Warner Bros were he won 3 Silver Bell Acting Awards. He also participated in Sato 48 winning awards 2 years in a row with David Watson and Ducon Williams. In 2019 he worked background on BAD BOYS 4 LIFE meeting Will Smith and directors Bilel Fallah and Edil Arbi. This gave him the tools to move on to bigger projects. He was working on self-produced SAG-AFTRA project "PRAY THEY STAND DOWN" which was shelved due to pandemic shutdowns he plans to continue this film in 2026 after completing his 1.3 Million dollar project "THIS IS FOR THE KIDS".
